Supporting the Next Generation of Jewelry Designers The MJSA Education Foundation recently awarded $9,000 in scholarships to four promising jewelry students. Each recipient received $2,250 through the Future of Jewelry Making grant. The initiative aims to support emerging designers as they advance their education and skills in jewelry making.
Meet This Year’s Recipients The scholarship recipients include Elle Jerge, J. Kreis, Anastacia Lauren, and Logan Nye. Jerge is entering her senior year at the Savannah College of Art and Design for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in jewelry. Kreis is studying at the New Approach School for Jewelers, preparing to graduate from their Bench Jeweler program in spring 2026.
Investing in Jewelry Education Since 1997 Lauren is pursuing a Jewelry Design Technology diploma at the Gemological Institute of America, while Nye is completing a certificate in Jewelry Technology at the Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology. Since its inception in 1997, the MJSA Education Foundation has awarded over $280,000 in scholarships. The foundation continues to foster talent and promote excellence in the jewelry industry.
